The search filters do not work for this kind of property. Most “multigenerational” listings are not actually multigenerational — they’re bonus rooms with attached bathrooms, marketed creatively. The properties that genuinely qualify get buried under thousands that don’t.
We compile and maintain a current list of Florida homes that genuinely qualify — properties with separate living structures and full kitchens, not just bonus rooms or kitchenettes. We review every listing personally. We note what is real and what is marketing language. We update the list weekly as new inventory comes on the market.
The current list includes 100+ properties across Florida’s major regions — Tampa Bay, Central Florida, Sarasota / Bradenton, Southwest Florida, and South Florida.
What’s on the list
Three criteria. Every property meets all three.

Separate living quarters
A detached or fully separated secondary structure — guest house, casita, ADU, or above-garage apartment. Not a bonus room.

Full kitchen
A true kitchen with full-size appliances and storage — not a kitchenette or microwave-and-mini-fridge setup.
03
Under $1 million
Priced below $1M total. Most ADU buyers are combining incomes or budget-conscious. We filter for what’s realistic.
